Marty Jaffe is an experienced educator. He is currently available to teach lessons in person and via zoom. He has taught topics including jazz bass, music theory, and jazz piano to students of all ages and levels. Although Marty is primarily a jazz bassist, he also has performed music in a wide range of styles, including pop, R&B, classical music, and samba, and he is excited to share the full range of his knowledge and experience.

Marty is excited to pass on the knowledge he has received under the tutelage of luminaries such as Ron Carter, Marcus Roberts, Ray Drummond, Avery Sharpe, John Clayton, Sal Macchia, Ben Wolfe, and others as well as the lessons he has learned from over a decade of professional experience performing internationally.
